“Мистецький арсенал” оприлюднив масштаби руйнувань після російської атаки на Київ

The National Cultural and Art and Museum Complex “Mystetskyi Arsenal” has released photographs of the destruction the institution suffered as a result of a massive air attack by the Russian Federation on the night of June 15.

Photographs documenting the condition of the building after the rescuers finished their work on June 19 were published on Facebook.

The statement notes that the Russian shelling damaged the roof, shattered the panoramic windows, and the premises were littered with glass shards and glass wool.

Despite significant damage to the infrastructure, the “Mystetskyi Arsenal” team continues its work and urges Ukrainians to participate in the complex’s restoration. To support the institution’s activities, you can purchase special “support packages” containing branded “Arsenal” merchandise from various years. To arrange a purchase, you need to write directly to the “Mystetskyi Arsenal Museum Shop” page on Facebook.

We remind you that the damage to “Mystetskyi Arsenal” and a number of other significant cultural heritage sites in the capital has become the basis for preparing draft resolution No. 15338 in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which calls on the world community to recognize the actions of the Russian Federation as cultural genocide.
